Perslane taking over
I let this perslane get way ahead of me and plucking each plant by hand seemed onersome. So I took to it with a diamond hoe, knowing I would see some of the plants again. But I will be back.

Mixed winter cover crop
The cover crop in the 2014 sweet corn patch at the farm went in after repeated weeding through out season. I chopped weeds as soon as they sprouted, so maybe the top of the seed bank was depleted and the winter mix will dominate.
